# 10.T.T.4: Poetic Techniques Overview

Evaluate and apply poetic techniques to enhance text’s appeal to audiences or achieve specific purposes.

- **Distinguished**: Apply poetic techniques to engage the audience and achieve a specific purpose in other text genres (e.g., argumentative, expository).
