Refer explicitly to a text to identify the central message, lesson, or moral of the text. Identify two characters, settings, explicit central messages, or events in text(s). Apply a narrative technique to introduce a character, a setting, or develop event(s) in a story. Use descriptive detail(s) to introduce a character in a developed paragraph. Develop part of a real or imagined experience by applying one narrative techniques. Clearly sequence events in a story when given at least two parts of the sequence. Include the problem in a story when provided the resolution or include the resolution when provided the problem. Use one instance of dialogue to further develop a character in a real or imagined experience. Use descriptive details to further develop a character, a setting, or an event(s).
